Tour Description
Kanchenjunga north base camp is a trekking destination in the eastern part of Nepal, located in the Kanchenjunga Conservation area. The area is covered with an abundant variety of wildlife the elusive snow leopard, red panda, the Asian black bear, and some of the more rare mammals. Bird lovers may get the chance to see the golden-breasted Fulvettas, snow cock, and blood pheasant among others.
Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world, and its base camp on the north side offers stunning views and a thrilling trekking experience. The route passes through several remote and less- visited areas, allowing you to experience the pleasing villages, lush forests, and high mountains passes.However, the trail involves steep ascents and descents, crossing rivers, and camping in remote areas with limited facilities. The north base camp rewards trekkers with incredible panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga massif, including its main summit and other neighboring peaks.
